Mission. My research focuses on deep learning, symbolic AI systems, and their combinations. In particular, I am interested in Neuro-Symbolic AI systems combining deep representation learning with symbolic computations to improve their ability to perform relational and analogical reasoning. Currently, I am developing large scale visual datasets, where class labels are derived from rule-based logic.

Open Thesis/Hiwi. If you are currently looking for an opportunity to work on a thesis or project in the exciting field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, I am open to discussing possible topics that align with my research interests. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested. Note: thesis proposal.
